Paolo Troilo is a self-taught artist currently based out of Milan, Italy who began drawing at the age of 4 and has not stop since then. Happy Friday everybody! Hopefully after the weekend, I'll look and feel like Troilo's paintings hovering over my toilet.

Currently based out Denver, Colorado, Emily J. Moore is an artist who uses a variety of mediums in her paintings, illustrations, and other mixed media pieces.

Charlie Anderson is an artist hailing from Edinburgh, UK who creates lively large-scale pieces that I want to commission to place in our EK headquarters even if it means to kill a man. Anderson's impressive work explores contemporary culture by sampling images from advertisements, political campaigns, and other mainstream sources, and recreates the aesthetic of the pieces being weathered and torn up through his creative process.

Jess & Keegan are a collaborative art-duo currently based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where they continue to create art together. Essentially, Jess focuses on organic patterns and details of nature in the pieces, as Keegan works on the design, form, color and texture.

Christopher Alva is an artist currently based out of Athens, Georgia who creates figurative works of the female form.

TERBYWONDER is an artist currently based out of Vancouver, Canada who creates figurative drawings and illustrations. I feel like it's just as much of a challenge to create good "sketchbook art" as TERBYWONDER's as it is with any other art.

I initially thought that Joe Fig's Inside the Painter's Studio series was a collection of photographs of famous artists working in their respective studios, but damn it, I was wrong after seeing images of Matisse, Van Gogh, and Polluck working away. Originally hailing from Seaford, New York, Fig creates incredibly detailed miniatures of artists and their studios, as well as the "table" sculptures showcasing the respective artists' art space based off of actual photos taken by Fig himself or off of older photos accounts for artists who have passed. I highly encourage everyone to check out more of Fig's work on his website!

If the art that we featured on EK were truly equivalent to drugs, then I would command all of you art-fiends to put Shin Kwang Ho's work into your pipe and smoke it to the head! Or maybe crush it up and snort it? Perhaps melt it down, find a good fat vein, and shoot it up with a rusty needle. Shin is an artist from South Korea who creates incredible figurative and portrait oil on canvas paintings that would make any art-fiend shake and pick scabs for more.

Primarily using vintage items purchased from antique shops (with most of the items having been in existence for nearly a century), Remedios Vincent creates wearable jewelry pieces designed after specific human body parts, such as eyelashes, eyeballs, and teeth. Each piece of jewelry is meticulously handmade and completely unique from any other. Van Gogh...each your heart out.

There perhaps is no better way to start a Monday off than with a series of wicked illustrations from the likes of Caitlin Hackett. Hackett is currently based out of Brooklyn, New York where she produces awesome illustrations of twisted "pseudo-mythical, mutated, and anthropomorphic creatures"...pure dope, I say.

Fabien Mérelle is an artist and sculptor hailing from France. Enjoy your Sunday with some of Mérelle's work, and hopefully, I get to go outside for my single hour of outdoor exercise in the EK backlot.

This is not your typical Candyland board game, I'll tell you that much. Nicole Andrijevic & Tanya Schultz is an art-duo who takes sugar, pigment, polystyrene, wax, modeling clay, paper, plastic, found objects, wire, beads, glitter, and almost whatever else they can get their hands on to create a literal Candyland in the middle of the gallery floor.

Bryan Olson is a collage artist currently based out of North Carolina. Olson draws from Sci-Fi genre films and vintage photos, and meticulously hand-cuts everything that you see in his work.

Based out of Los Angeles, California, Justin Bower is an artist who creates large-scale oil paintings that look as if they were digital pieces. Bower pushes his portraits into abstraction as he explores "modern man's immersive connectivity to technology and obsession with altering their physical image" by utilizing digitized, dissected, and fragmented effects in his work.

Kang Kang-Hoon is a painter from South Korea who creates amazingly detailed large-scaled oil on canvas portraits. Kang's work pretty much speaks for itself, and I encourage everyone to check out more of his contemporary portraits on his website.

Rowan Newton was featured back in February 2011, and it seems that Newton has been busy the past 2 years. Rowan uses spray paint, acrylics, and ink to create his gritty pieces that brings him back to EK.

Magdalena Kapinos is an artist hailing from Szczecin, Poland who creates digital paintings that borders between surreal and abstract forms. Today, we check out some of Kapinos' work as well as taking a peak at some of her works in progress.

Give a mouse a cookie, and it'll ask for a glass a milk. Give the Canadian artist Erik Olson a paint brush, and he'll paint you a bad-ass tiger who will eat the shit out of a dumb mouse along with your face.
