What does a graffitied cow, pastel cats and fondling an alligator all have in common? They were thought up, brought to life, and captured by Tim Walker. Being a professional photographer for over a decade in will do wonders on the imagination.
Mix creative intelligence with impeccable set design, add a some creepy elements and a dash of magic, and WALA! you have Tim Walker‘s photography. Walker has been working for Vogue for more years than I can count on both hands. He began his career upon graduation as a freelance photographer, which lead him to NYC where he became Richard Avedon’s assistant. Working side by side with one of America’s most prestigious fashion photographers is not a bad gig. He then landed the job with Vogue at the age of 25, and has since worked with the British, Italian, and American editions. Throughout his career he has developed not only a love for photography, but also insanely creative set design, one hell of an eye for fashion and even film making.
