Artist Aleksey Morozov studied classical sculpture and French terracotta after graduating from the Moscow State Academic Surikov Art Institute (workshop of Lev Kerbel), and it shows in his work. Morozov creates sculptures, paintings, and drawings with the reminiscent styling and technique of classical art, yet infused with a contemporary sentiment. Currently, Morozov is based out of both Moscow, Russia and Bologna, Italy.
