Love the concept of wearing the skin of others. I’m a mother of three beautiful girls and my body has definitely gone through a lot of metamorphoses. I admit I am bothered by the photo of the mother and the amniotic sac. It’s not that it’s bloody and a bit shocking, my fear is that it shows the ‘gross’ part of giving birth. My concern is that this could have a negative effect if viewed by young women of this generation (remember I have 3 daughters). I want my daughters to have kids, and this part of the process is one you just try to hurry up and get through. Who wants to see the blood! I focus on the magic of the birth of the beautiful baby, the bloody amniotic sac doesn’t do it for me and I don’t think that image would convince any other woman it’s a magical, wonderful experience. It truly is, but that part isn’t the part I want to focus on. I love the other images of women’s bodies. Hope I’m not do negative.

Wow… para nada impresionante. Me fascinó ver estas imágenes, la simplicidad con que trataste el cuerpo tan animal que tenemos! no recuerdo haber visto algo parecido, y hoy se ve de todo plasmado en las artes…. pero ésto me maravilló! Especialmente la foto de la madre que recién dio a luz y tiene la placenta al lado… simplemente es así, te agrade o no, es hermoso… realmente conmovedor… como olvidamos lo que somos, y como llegamos al mundo, me provoca una profunda emoción ver tanto instinto aplicado a la imagen. Hiciste un gran trabajo!
