Andrew Myers is an artist currently based out of Laguna, California. Originally, Myers was born in Braunshweig, Germany, and raised in Ciudad Real, Spain. Myers is known for his figurative sculptures that blends “modern material with classical figurative technique,” which carries a unique narrative and social commentary. Most of Myers’ sculptural works are created using bronze, cement, tempered glass, and other mixed materials. However, Myers’ new works consists of roughly 8,000-10,000 individual screws to create portrait relief sculptures.
