BAT EYES recollects the memories of a visually impaired girl, and her encounters with a fellow classmate. A great poetic short with nods to W.B. Yeats. Created by The Voices Project, a playwright-driven media outlet from the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP). Directed by Damien Power and originally scribed by Jessica Bellamy. Official synopsis can be read as follows:
“16 year old Adam cruelly teases a classmate. When he seeks her out to apologise, she has quite different plans for him. Years later, when least expected, the memory of this event comes back to haunt Adam.”
