BOY, is a silently polished short by acclaimed writer / director Topaz Adizes. A very intriguing filmmaker who’s works encompass variable international perspectives. Adizes’ piece has only a handful of words for dialogue, but it’s lack of chitchat doesn’t hinder what’s presented on screen. In fact for me, it made the whole coming-of-age subject matter much easier to absorb.

The straightforward summary reads as follows:

“A 10 year old spends the day with his father and experiences a rite of passage that will forever change him.”
