The great media auteur Christian Marclay wows us once again with his latest video art installation labeled simply as The Clock (currently being showcased at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art up until July 31).
Marclay’s latest feat compiles hundred to thousands of cinematic footage all depicting moments of time and the like from a wide range of familiar, obscure, and foreign films. The extraordinary thing about this piece is that the entire 24-hour montage is synced exactly to real time (to it’s respective time zone / location). A very interesting perspective on the history of cinema. If you’re in the area check it out!
