Dana Lixenberg is a photographer originally hailing from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Currently however, she splits her time between there and New York, USA. Lixenberg has been in the game for quite a while, and has been commissioned for work by many publications, such as the New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Newsweek, Vrij Nederland and Vibe among many others. Currently, Lixenberg continues to pursue her long-term personal projects focusing on individuals from marginalized communities. If you ask me though, one of the really awesome things about Lixenberg is that she photographed Tupac and Notorious BIG during her career. Fuckin’ dope!

(This man needs no introduction…)

(Tribe Called Quest – for all you youngsters who aren’t familiar with some of the original pioneers of hip-hop)

(Sonny Rollins – actualy that’s Mr. Theodore Walter “Sonny” Rollins…legendary saxophonist)

(Bobby Brown – poor Whitney. Was that too soon?)

(Sean Combs aka Puff Daddy aka P. Diddy aka…soon to be announced)
