On this beautiful April Monday, what’s better than to celebrate and to see the later half of the day with a little animated short of an incredible perfect game that could only be brought to you by America’s most-popular past time sport and animator James Blagder? How about a little animated short of LSD fueled no-hitter?! Some of you may have already seen this short, but hey…it’s still fuckin’ awesome.
Dock Ellis as a pitcher + LSD + Baseball + James Blagder animating it all = pure joy on a Monday.
Dock Phillip Ellis, Jr. (March 11, 1945 – December 19, 2008) was a professional baseball player who pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates, and threw an amazing no-hitter against the San Diego Padres on June 12, 1970…later admitting in 1984 that he was tripping on LSD. Only America could bring you a story cockamamie as that.
