Florian Baron created the KALEIDOCLOCK which is an interactive installation piece that was created for the Ashigara Art Festival in Japan. The KALEIDOCLOCK allows the viewer to create kaleidoscopic patterns using video delay through a circular screen that is divided into segments, similar to the face of a clock. The segments shows footage of a camera facing the viewer with only one of them in real time and each successive segment with a time delay to the previous one. It’s like time-travel!
If you like Baron’s work, he has also released an App for iPhone and iPad that uses the same principle and allows users to record and share their videos! See www.kaleidoclock.com!
