Good Bye

Good Bye (Bé Omid é Didar) centers its attention on a recently disbarred Tehran lawyer. and her ultimatum to leave the country. A politically-charged drama directed by Mohammad Rasoulof, who was sentenced to six years of imprisonment on December 20, 2010 due to his “outspoken” filmography (more info here). Short synopsis as follows (via Cannes)

“A feature film, with Leyla Zareh, Fereshteh Sadreorafai, Shahab Hoseini and Roya Teymorian, Good Bye is the story of a young female lawyer in Tehran trying to get a visa to leave the country. Mohammad Rasoulof made the film during the winter of 2010/2011.”
