I first saw a photograph of Gregory Colberts’ @ 2002, I have one photo graph in my home of the women with the Eagle and feathers. I have recently discovered the Ashes and Snow Videos, and when I saw the women in my photo come to life and dance with the Eagle…I was blown away! I have enjoyed finding more Gregory Colberts photos and shared them the past few years on Face Book. I now know about the Videos, and shared them this week on Face Book to 100′s of friends. Today in the 2012 Solstice, and I am apart of the Unify movement (particularly on this day) in the past week I have shared the Ashes and Snow Video in hopes that people will see the connection, and beauty in Nature that Mr. Colbert has so extrarodinarily captured. It is no coincidence that on this day of Historical significance, when people around the globe made a determined effort to come together prayer and meditation, for unification and equality, that such a Video would come into my awareness just in the last week or so. To share with friends and all who will understand, that world peace involves all creatures, and I found today that Mr. Colberts’ work has been a tremendous tool in not only the education of all peoples, but the profound beauty that the animals/creatures of this planet have been throughout history. If we truly want to Unify as one world, then all creatures must be included. I am profoundly grateful to the work of Gregory Colbert. And what it has contributed to bringing about real change in our world.
