Photographer Mikael Aldo was born in 1996 in Jakarta, Indonesia and currently still residing in his motherland. Aldo's conceptual aspect through photo-manipulation is immaculate and his rich theatrical approach portrays a beautiful twist on reality. At such a young age, it's quite astonishing where his vision travels.
“If it’s in a word or it’s in a book… You can’t get rid of The Babadook.” A creepy tagline for a psychologically menacing feature debut from Australian director Jennifer Kent. Check it all out after the jump!
More film info can be read as follows:
“Six years after the death of her husband, Amelia struggles to discipline her “out-of-control” six-year-old Samuel – a son she finds difficult to love. Samuel’s dreams are plagued by a monster he believes is coming to kill them both. When a disturbing storybook called “THE BABADOOK” turns up at their house, Samuel is convinced that the BABADOOK is the creature he’s been dreaming about. And when Amelia begins to see glimpses of the creature herself, it slowly dawns on her that the thing Samuel has been warning her about may well be real.”
