Joe Forkan is an artist originally hailing from Newburgh, New York, USA. Forkan’s series, entitled “The Lebowski Cycle,” is a series of paintings using the Coen Brothers‘ film The Big Lebowski as the starting point, but the nut kicker about Forkan’s series is that each piece is inspired and further explored after masterpieces of Western art from artists ranging from David, Titian, Caravaggio, Friedrich, and Guercino.
If you’re not familiar with those names…you need to up your art history game if you want to be down with EK!
Forkan is currently based out of Santa Ana, California, USA.
