There’s definitely something about photographer Kalpesh Lathigra’s sets that triggers a very personal response from the viewer. If you don’t share this sentiment, then most likely I’m full of shit, or you’re just not into good photo essay-esque works (I’m leaning more towards the latter). Then again, we’re not doing any justice to Lathigra’s work by showing a couple of images from his overall body of work in one measly little post, so I can’t blame you.
Originally hailing from London, UK, Lathigra is regularly commissioned to shoot photo essays and portraits, while continuing to pursue his personal body of work. The following images are from several of Lathigra’s individual photo sets. There were way too many great images from several of his photo series to fit into one featured post, so today, EK presents a kind of “excerpt”, if I may, of Lathigra’s overall body of work. Definitely check out his personal site to see more of his work in it’s entirety as they were meant to be viewed.
