Based out of Paris, France, Laurent Chehere‘s work has literally taken off. I haven’t seen a flying house like this since the tornado dropped one on the wicked witch of the west…. That lady must’ve been a real bitch.
The photo-manipulated houses are floating aimlessly in the vintage sky, yet are anchored to something unknown. Possibly symbolic of grounded hopes and dreams, or maybe Chehere is just flying kite houses. Whatever the meaning behind the project, we should all dream a little. Look close, there are some subtle intricacies.
