Lu Cong is a young and newly emerging American contemporary artist creating a lot of stir with his portrait series. Cong was originally born in Shanghai, China, and in 1989 immigrated to USA with his family.
In Cong’s portrait pieces, he attempts to establish and bridge the unique psychological interactions that emerge when viewers are faced with the sensual and the unsettling.
