The developers will undoubtedly be jacking up the condo selling prices on these as construction progresses. Another wild but dubious Safdie project that looks nirvana-like in 3D CAD renderings and walk-throughs but are a killer to build.

@Kilgore If everything was made for the common man and nothing was every more expensive than anything else, do you really think that people would pay more to make it pretty? Everything would look boring. The reason this building looks so beautiful is BECAUSE it was expensive. It takes money to make works of art such as this. Such is life.

i hope this inspires someone to build more of these here in our country(US).

Looks a little like mt. midoriyama, especially in the second picture. Throw a rope down the center and dig a water pit underneath and maybe nagano will buy a timeshare?

I would hate to be the man that has to re-paint this building in the future, I am an exterior and interior painter, the money would have to be very good for me to tackle this place, what a architectural nightmare that be…lol nice place though.

The wind at upper floors could be a challenge for the open balconies.
