So let me start from the beginning: Kris Kuksi was originally featured during EK’s infamous “BC Period” (Before the Crash) in 2009. For folks who haven’t heard this tale before, the first year that EK went live in 2009, our entire server crashed due to an overwhelming amount of visitors (which we were completely unprepared for – WE LOVE YOU), and needless to say, we lost EVERYTHING. Well…Mr. Kuksi is a dear favorite among our EK staff, and he’s been a busy man as he has new works to present for 2012!
Kuksi was previously featured back in March 2010, which landed him on our EK TOP 100 of 2010. AND THEN, was featured twice in 2011 for the months of August and December, landing him another rare spot in our EK TOP 100 of 2011…
…no surprise that Kuksi is our man-crush.
Regardless, in today’s feature, let’s us take a closer look at Kuksi’s work…detail and all. Besides the obvious awesome attention to detail, Kuksi tends to create his pieces influenced by classic Greek myths and/or other relevant social thematic subject matter which ties in to the titles the he gives to his individual works. That’s our way of telling y’all to go to his site, and take a look for yourselves!
