Ran Ortner is an artist originally from San Francisco, California, USA, and now currently lives and works in New York City.
Ortner grew up living near north of Half Moon Bay, California, the home of Mavericks surfing contest, which is known as one of the world’s largest and most dangerous surf competitions.
