How does one make paintings for the blind? Roy Nachum knows how. Originally hailing from Jerusalem, Israel, Nachum carefully sculpts pixels of raised gesso forming Braille which he incorporates into his paintings as the foundation for his work. Who says you can’t touch art?! Nachum painstakingly renders his oil on canvas paintings so that the surfaces are smooth and free of any uneven paint lines and what have you. Currently, Nachum is based out of New York, USA.
