Originally hailing from Laconia, New Hampshire, USA, Shawn Huckins began honing his painting skills later on in college after inheriting an oil painting set after his grandmother passed away. In his current series, entitled “American Revolution Revolution”, Huckins replicates 18th Century American portraiture and juxtaposes current day “digital speak” synonymous with texting, Facebook status updates, and Tweets of this day in age. What would George Washington Tweet?!

Currently, Huckins is based out of Denver, Colorado, USA.
