Shohei Otomo…Otomo, Otomo…Otomo? I kept wondering why that name sounded familiar…obviously besides being previously featured back in June 2010 and on our Top 100 of 2010. Well after spending a good amount of time doing research and digging around the interwebs, Shohei Otomo, an artist who creates wicked illustrations simply out of ball-point pens, is the son of the one and only Katsuhiro Otomo! Yes, you read correctly. Katsuhiro Otomo who wrote and directed “AKIRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
