Angela Buron is a photographer based out of Spain who shoots contorted and deformed portraits in surreal juxtapositions. She raises the basic metaphysical and fundamental idea of what the true meaning and relationship is with our body.
Laura Zalenga is a [self-]portrait-artist from Southern Germany. She states that photography is a clear visual language which has the ability to tell stories by it's raw and honest emotions. Laura also uses this medium as a form of therapy by healing herself and others.
In 1949 Pablo Picasso was visited by Gjon Mili, a photographer and lighting innovator, who introduced Picasso to his photographs of ice skaters with lights attached to their skates. Immediately Picasso started making images in the air with a small flashlight in a dark room. This series of photos became known as Picasso's "light drawings."
