Livia Corona was born in Ensenada, Baja California, but currently works out of New York, USA and Mexico City, Mexico. Corona recently was awarded a John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship for her photography and film project titled “Two Million Homes for Mexico”.

Corona focuses on the surge of mass-scale affordable housing developments in Mexico, exploring the continuous transformation of the social and cultural landscape (not to mention ecological as well) of the nation and its citizens.
