Very rarely will a film come around that simply by seeing the trailer, I can 100% guarantee you that it will be a great film, and that you have to watch it. And that if you don’t like it, you’re probably not the brightest reel in the film cabinet.
A few films I’ve confidently identified as awesome before I’ve seen them: Thirst, District 9, Revanche, Bronson, and This is England, and the amazing blow-your-mind-Spider Man 3. (just kidding about the last one, although SM3 did blow my mind how terrible it was.)
