while the color is really great there is nothing in any of these photos that is “taken-yesterday,” other than the color. The framing, the composition, the poses, the staging, it all is obviously 75 years old. Always great to see photos from my pre-history, and I must say for some reason these photos seem almost inaccessible to the viewer, as there is something between subject and viewer for me that makes them haunting,unreal, even alien images to me; a fascinating collection, thank you for posting it.
