John Romang // INK and RESIN
John Romang hails from Paducah, Kentucky, USA. Romang works with ink and resin on plexi glass, and places them into a lightbox, backlighting the separate layers to create his cosmic art pieces.
“Each piece of plexi glass has one color on them, each lightbox has three pieces of plexi glass. Each sheet is seperated by 1 inch creating a sense of depth within the work. With it being the work backlit the piece takes on new characteristics within themselves.”
