Kent Williams
I remember first coming across Kent William’s work as a wee boy in the Marvel comic Havok/Wolverine: Meltdown. That was 1988. Shit that was a long time ago, I just realized what an old fart I am, but why would you want to bring that up? Jerk.
Anyways,
I remember thinking, this guy is weird, all their muscles drip. Then I grew up and learned to appreciate fine art, so I really started appreciating his work. And while I still feel he can make pretty panels, but not put them next to each other in a way that tells a story I am invested in, he definitely can nail the hell out of a painting.
