Designer and artist Seth Clark creates beautiful collages focusing on the beauty of decay and collapse within architecture. Within the deterioration, he writes, "there remains a gentle resolve...it is as if the buildings were content with their circumstance...They are on the brink of ruin, yet appear dignified in their state. Something very energized and present is trying to escape out of a slow history of abandonment." His pieces are quite painterly, with subdued hues and an attention to detail that borders on realism, he has created works of structures that do not exist, yet are entirely familiar.
